9/11 Museum: Memorial Glade

9/11 Museum: Memorial Glade

Construction on the 9/11 Memorial Glade began in fall 2018 to create a dedicated space to honor the ongoing sacrifice of rescue, recovery and relief workers, and the survivors and members of the broader lower Manhattan community, who are sick or have died from exposure to toxins at the World Trade Center site in the aftermath of 9/11; it will also recognize the courage, selflessness, and perseverance of the men and women of the rescue and recovery effort. Over 1,500 Stars of HOPE have been shared around the world from the 9/11 Community Day event.

This year Stars of HOPE has been asked to have Stars wrap the construction site with HOPE. Using Stars of HOPE created by others across the globe to serve as beacons of HOPE for the men and women of Manhattan and those dealing with the aftermath of 9/11. These Stars of HOPE will be our collective way to say Thank You and to let them know they are not forgotten.

Together we can respond with HOPE and continue to show WE STAND UNITED.

Help reach our goal of 500 Stars of HOPE by April 21st, 2019 to be presented to 9/11- health advocates and providers, family members, first responders, and lower Manhattan residents.
