Critter Campers create hope with Stars of HOPE

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

For local elementary and middle school students, Critter Camp at the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley was a week full of caring for animals, learning about the environment and creating hope for someone in need.

According to Lynn Hildebrand, a Stars of HOPE volunteer, Critter Camp teaches children about the importance of kindness and compassion toward all living creatures. Stars of HOPE is a perfect project to put kindness and compassion into practice.

Along with special guests from the Ontario Reign and San Bernardino 66ers sports teams, campers painted Stars of HOPE to send words of encouragement to people who need have experienced a disaster or tragedy.

Thank you to Lynn Hildebrand and the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley for having Stars of HOPE as part of Critter Camp this summer!
