The Story of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum

The National September 11 Museum has been an active and continuous supporter of Stars of HOPE projects throughout the years. Stars of HOPE are painted in by the visitors in the museums’ classroom and The Tribute Center. Stars of HOPE have also been painted for five consecutive years at the Community Day events. This year’s event will be held Sunday, April 22. You are encouraged to stop by and see us at Booth #30 and paint your own Star of HOPE!
The 9/11 Museum has sent their completed Stars all over the world to those in need, from Paris, Lahore, Brussels, Ecuador, Japan, Nepal, and to Gander, Newfoundland – just to name a few. The Museum remains committed to spreading hope and healing to communities around the world through their work, and through Stars of HOPE.

“A Star of HOPE reached Gander, Newfoundland in Canada. The people of Gander were true friends on 9/11 and the days that followed.”
