Stars of HOPE® Box of HOPE lets you give HOPE
where it is needed most.
The Jan. 21-23, 2017 tornado outbreak, in Albany, GA and surrounding areas, was one of the largest outbreaks on record not only for January, but for any winter month, featuring one of the longer tornado tracks on record, according to data from the National Weather Service.
Storm surveys done jointly by the National Weather Service offices in Peachtree City, Georgia, and Tallahassee, Florida, found an EF3 tornado that ravaged parts of Albany, Georgia, on January 22 was on the ground for an hour and 12 minutes, tearing an almost 71-mile path through parts of five Georgia counties.
We will be in Albany, March 15-19, 2017 painting Stars of HOPE with the students at Turner, Radium and St. Theresa’s Elementary schools. Over 1,200 kids will be participating over four days by painting and deploying Stars around their devastated town. You can support this project by making a monetary donation here. You can also order a box of HOPE below. If you have any questions about the project or supporting through an in-kind donation, you can reach Marcelle Robustelli, Stars of HOPE Program Manager, at Marcelle@StarsofHOPEUSA.org
